A new addition to Westland’s Outpost Range, Solum sees the Seattle-based distillery unveiling its explorations into American peat. Limited to an annual release of 15 casks, the whiskey is distilled entirely from American peated malt, and matured in a combo of new American oak and first-fill bourbon oak casks.
Nose: Aroma is very pleasant.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.
Finish: Long, delicate and complex.
