Produced at Dublin’s first new distillery in 125 years, this release in the Wonders of Wood series has a mash bill of 50% malted barley and 50% unmalted barley and is finished in Virgin Portuguese Oak, a wood with a higher tannin content than other oaks typically used to age whiskey. The result is a truly unique Irish Whiskey with savoury marmalade flavour and warming hints of tobacco. Only a limited number of bottles of this whiskey have been produced.
