Scallywag to reprezentant Speyside w serii Remarkable Regional Malts sp?ki Douglas Laing & Co. Its formula is built around the aces of the region-Macallan, Mortlach and Glenrothes, and its debut came in 2013. While the standard Scallywag is a blend of “whiskey aged in sherry casks balanced with first-fill bourbon casks”, only the first ones participate in the creation of the Chocolate Edition. “Chocolate edition” first appeared in 2018 in the amount of 300 bottles. The sixth edition of 2023, presented here, was made up of single malts aged in Oloroso and Pedro Jimenez sherry barrels.
