A premium cask strength expression of rum made from sugarcane grown on Iejima. It was distilled in 2013 and bottled after 5 years of maturation, which is the longest of any expression produced at the distillery. Due to the tropical climate on Iejima, the rum matures very quickly and as such you will detect notes of sweet, charred oak, vanilla and the fruity sweetness of sugar cane. A wonderful rum that is well worth trying.
Nose: Delightful aroma.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.
Finish: Long, delicate and complex.
