Boasting a big bold ABV of 63%, this characterful overproof rum from Jamaica’s Hampden Estate is the perfect thing to add some oomph to your cocktails and mixed drinks. After a long fermentation with wild yeasts, the molasses-based rum is produced in copper pot stills, resulting in a hugely complex, aromatic character. The aim was to create a clear rum that remained true to Hampden Estate’s renowned funky, high-ester style, and we can see this working well in an array of classic serves, or neat with a squeeze of fresh lime.

Nose: Delightful aroma.

Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.

Finish: Quite rich and lovely smooth texture.
