Casks filled with new-make mature for years in different temperatures. This creates interactions with the environment in which the casks rest, giving the whisky an unpredictable structure. The seasonal change of temperature and humidity, storage type and location in combination with the so-called Angels-Share creates a complex Single Malt. The casks used for the maturation of Interation IV are kept in the darkest and coldest places in the distillery’s warehouse.
