Following previous limited edition cask strength batches, Blackened has released Volume 1 for nationwide release as well as selected provinces in Canada. The Cask Strength bottling features the same blend of straight rye and bourbon whiskeys which are married and finished in sonically-enhanced brandy barrels. Volume 1 is bottled without chill-filtration at 61.4% ABV (122.85 proof).
Nose: Full-bodied aroma.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.
Finish: Quite rich and lovely smooth texture.
