It is a small distance away from the coastal village of Hermanus, and a short, beautiful drive will bring you to the highest part of the country. Ataraxia Wines is known to produce exceptional wines that show the qualities of their unique region and are internationally acclaimed. The name of the winery comes from a Greek word origin meaning serene state-of-mind free from any preoccupation and worries. The winery is located at the base of a high peak of Babylons Tower Mountain Range. The owners, Kevin and Hanli Grant, purchased Skyfield Farms, a 47-hectare property converting it into wine production. The winery is known to produce exceptional wines that show the qualities of their region and are internationally acclaimed.
