Producer Information

Hannes Storm is well know in the wine industry and worked for more than 12 vintages in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. At one point he discovered two small parcels of land with exceptional quality, one in the Hemel-en-Aarde Valley and the other in the Upper Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. The vineyards were planted in 2008 and the maiden vintage was 2012. Only in 2015 Hannes Storm was able to dedicate 100% of his time to his own brand. Storm Wines is focusing on two grape varites: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. With these wines Hannes is trying to get the purest characteristics of each site into the bottle. Small production, careful viticulture, minimal intervention in the cellar and a constant nod to the Old World present the wines with distinctive personality and character.
