The wine is deep purple in color. The flower is ripe, pleasant, smells of dark red and black fruits, spicy notes predominate. The wine is dry in the mouth, with an abundance of slightly acidic acids. The fruit charge in the mouth is slightly less pronounced than the flower promises, but it is extremely spicy. The wine is medium bodied, with a moderate alcoholic degree and some astringency. Time will soften it a bit, but don’t age it too long.

On the farm in the middle of the Vipava valley, which is the largest of the four coastal wine-growing regions, we take care of 40,000 vines on 9 hectares of vineyards, and we grow fruit and vegetables on the remaining 3 hectares. Sauvignon, green, yellow muscat, malvasia, pinot blanc, Riesling and chardonnay from whites and merlot, barbera cabernet sauvignon and pinot noir from red varieties are planted on flysch soils, mainly in southern locations. The more than 150-year-old cellar with wooden barrels proves that we have not been dealing with wine and viticulture since yesterday. We bottle varietal wines: yellow muscat, green, sauvignon, ros and pinot noir, as well as the red variety otus cuvee red.
