Producer Information

Domaine Robert AMPEAU & Fils is located in Meursault, in the heart of the Cte de Beaune. Winemaker from father to son, Michel Ampeau, grandson of the founder, is currently at the head of the family estate. The vineyard has 9.3 ha, spread over a large number of appellations: Meursault, Meursault 1er Cru, Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru, Auxey-Duresses, Savigny les Beaune, Beaune, Pommard, Volnay 1er Cru and Blagny 1er Cru. The red wines are suave, well balanced, full on the palate, with well-integrated tannins and develop great persistence and a beautiful aromatic complexity. The whites are very balanced and very distinctive, intense, classic and very elegant.
