Maison Trimbach is one of the oldest wineries in the French wine region of Alsace. Dating back to 1626, Trimbach is well-known for its Riesling wines. In particular, one made from the small Clos Sainte Hune vineyard, which is considered one of the finest Alsatian expressions of the grape.Alongside Riesling, Trimbach has a range of classic Alsace varieties within its wine portfolio. These include Sylvaner, Gewrztraminer, Pinot Blanc, Muscat and Pinot Noir. The collection covers a range of styles, but dry, ageworthy wines with great minerality are Trimbach’s specialty. The house makes a few Vendages Tardives and Selection de Grains Nobles wines, as well as some Eaux-de-Vie in select vintages.Located in Ribeauville,Trimbach is surrounded by limestone- and fossil-rich vineyards protected by the Vosges Mountains.Trimbach has plots in several grand cru vineyards, including Geisberg and Osterberg.
