Produced by Trinidad Distillers Limited, this impressive bottle of molasses rum was distilled in December 1991 in a continuous column still (which was commissioned by Angostura Ltd in the late 1940s). Trinidad Distillers even cultivate their own yeast strain, which imparts a distinctive flavour to the rum. It was bottled in March 2018 by 1423 for the Single Barrel Selection after over a quarter of a century of ageing, in a release of 224 bottles at a punchy 66.2% ABV.
