The Dalmore Select Edition 2009 Highland 15 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes

Nose: Whispers of Manuka honey, dark plum and cracked black pepper, and hints of clove.

Palate: Morello cherries and dates, elevated with notes of candied Seville orange, fresh figs and light cacao.

Finish: Rich plum complemented by moist ginger cake, roast chestnut, and soft wood spice.

Distillery Information

The gift of a King, the 12-point Royal Stag proudly adorns each bottle of The Dalmore. It encapsulates the distillerys regal legacy, dating back to 1263. The emblem was bestowed upon Colin of Kintail, the first chieftain of Clan Mackenzie, after he saved the life of King Alexander III of Scotland from the fury of a charging stag.
