Dos Pasiones is a small batch, hand-crafted mezcal. Mezcal is a spirit made from the heart of the agave plant, which is then distilled twice. It is often compared to tequila, but there are key differences. Unlike tequila, mezcal is not distilled in a single pass. The resulting spirit has a richer and more complex flavor. The other key difference is that mezcal has been aged in oak barrels. The oak barrels help to mellow the spirit and create a smooth, round flavor.
