This whiskey was aged in American oak barrels for four years before being finished in oloroso sherry casks for an additional four months. This whiskey is made from 100% Alba barley and is a unique expression of Westlands Outpost Range. It has a rich, sweet aroma and taste of dried fruits, toasted oak, and nutty sherry notes, as well as a hint of spice. The finish is smooth and creamy with a lingering nutty sweetness.
