Pppoli 2018 is ruby red in color. On the nose, Pppoli has intense notes of red fruit; cherries and strawberries that are well balanced with floral undertones of dog rose. Delicate hints of spices, aromatic herbs and notes of light toasting complete its bouquet. On the palate its vibrant, fresh with supple tannins and a finish that brings back aromatic notes perceived on the nose.

• Wine Enthusiast: Bright and savory, this opens with aromas of wild red berry, blue flower and a whiff of wet earth. The linear palate offers juicy morello cherry, star anise and a hint of white pepper alongside fresh acidity and smooth tannins.

• James Suckling: A direct, real Chianti Classico with plum and sour-cherry character, as well as some tangy citrus. Its medium-bodied with lovely fruit and a fresh finish. Just a hint of firmness at the end.
